Olivia Chesniak, PhD

Olivia Chesniak is the Postdoctoral Fellow for the Postdoc Academy project. Olivia was born and raised on the Southwest side of Chicago, IL. She earned a BS in Chemistry from Lewis University in Romeoville, IL and a PhD in Chemistry from Michigan State University with a focus on biocompatible nanomaterial synthesis. Olivia has long worked toward a career in improving STEM education, with particular interests in professional identity and community-driven culture change. Olivia supports the Postdoc Academy through content development, workshop facilitation, and evaluation.
